CrossFit Ellington Field has the opportunity to impact hundreds of Soldiers and their dependents in the Greater Houston area. Even without a large military installation, Houston is home to thousands of veterans. Of those, many still serve in the Guard and Reserve. Yet, they face the same struggles of maintaining the optimal fitness of their younger years when not being forced to work out every day as they had previously. Working out can be more than pushups, sit ups, and running. It can actually be fun, invigorating and effective! The CrossFit program sells itself, but by making CrossFit so easily accessible and by taking the financial commitment away, I know that this affiliate can create a fit and united military family on Ellington.
CrossFit Ellington Field will offer more than just an exercise plan. We ensure participants will gain self- empowerment and confidence throughout their daily lives. CFEF offers a renewed, healthy lifestyle that consequentially teaches a mental preparedness allowing a participant to remain focused and motivated through some of life’s most challenging situations. CFEF will be a guide to stay competitive in your career, positive through deployments, broaden your personal knowledge base, and unite families.
ABOUT THE TRAINERS
Keleigh Estes is a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer and Army Master Fitness Trainer. She also holds specialty certifications in CrossFit Weightlifting, CrossFit Kids, and CrossFit Mobility. As an active member of the Texas Army National Guard, MSG Estes is currently deployed with the 36 Infantry Division.
She is the Founder of CrossFit Ellington Field, a non-profit fitness facility devoted to helping Veterans, Service members, and their dependents build a foundational fitness regimen within the local military community. Her passion is to help others push past limitations they have set for themselves with proper guidance and mechanics.
Her experience includes 10 years of CrossFit training and 8 years in coaching adults, teens, and children. She has knowledge in project management, individual, team and organizational development, and business planning. She uses her talents to help her clients build solid foundations in fitness and nutrition, allowing them to focus on their unique journey towards the health and wellbeing that they need to remain inspired and to continue to live a wholesome, balanced life.
ABOUT THE TRAINERS
Coach Jesse hales from Houston, TX, where he grew up learning music & playing sports. After some college, he answered his calling to serve his country & joined the Air Force in 1996 – over 20 years later he remains active duty.
When his brother, Christian, exposed him to CrossFit in 2010, his obsession with improving his own fitness & desire to help others become fitter through CrossFit flourished! With six years & over 3500 hours of coaching & CrossFit experience, & starting an education in performance nutrition, Coach Jesse’s goals are to improve all aspects of his clients’ health & wellness, & to find & develop their hidden potentials.
When not on base or the blacktop, Coach Jesse can be found with his amazing wife, Linda, and their four beautiful children, Izabella, Jacob, Taylor & Ian.

Clarence Miller started CrossFit in 2013 and has not looked back since. He obtained his Level 1 CrossFit Certification in 2014 and began coaching shortly after that. Clarence brings his passion and desire to CrossFit, in hopes to inspire others to surpass their fitness goals. He draws his passion from the achievements of others within the CrossFit community. Clarence believes that we all share the same fitness journey, and together anything is possible.
Coach Clarence's athletic background consists of wrestling and track, in which he excelled in both. His specialty is strength-training and gymnastics.
